LAST MONTH'S DANCE

The September dance was fun and it was so good to see everyone after the summer hiatus. Many thanks to Linda & John Troester for set up and break down of the dance. Jan & Walt Fink brought the yummy cake. The delicious snacks and other goodies were donated by Rose & Ben, Judy & Peter Spizzirri, Gail & Rod Covenah and Jackie & Frank Penze. Thanks to those who helped with the clean-up. It was so much appreciated.

St. John’s Church had asked us to benefit “Butter” their Comfort Dog at out next dance. It seems she had to have a series of surgeries. Although she is comfortable

now, her medical bills have added up. So our next dance as follows is for the benefit of Butter . Another change or should I say good addition to the dance is the celebration of Halloween. Read on…

NOVEMBER’S SILENT AUCTION

The silent auction is popular because the items are usually sold far below their value and everybody ends up happy. It is also the chapter’s chance to replenish its treasury.

The auction involves a lot of work getting gift certificates, baskets, and items and then putting everything together to make many attractive packages. If you have items to donate, gift certificates from your favorite places you patronize or perhaps helping to put together baskets, please give me a call, 847-639-8699 or send me a short email at jackiepenze@aol.com.
